MINISTRIES
We exist to serve! We have the following ministries available for our members and visitors:
Adult Formation
We also offer sacramental preparation for adults. Those who are going to enter into the Sacrament of the Holy Matrimony, we offer preparation classes before celebrating the sacrament. Those who would like to enter into seminary formation as ordained Deacons and Priests, we also assist them in their preparation programs and seminary formation.
Worship & Music Ministry
Worship is the center of our Christian life. It is both our communion with God and fellow children of God. We do it both in our regular church worship schedules, acts of charity, church events fellowship, and our way of witness of faith in our respective workplaces and homes. In the church setting, we value music as one great expression of prayerful worship to God. As St. Augustine says it well, "He who sings well prays twice."
Kid's Ministry
We offer classes for First Holy Communion and Confirmation for both children and youth! These classes prepare our children and youth to receive the Holy Eucharist and Sacrament of Confirmation respectively.
Guardians of the Cross
Guardians of the Cross is our lay leadership ministry for those interested to assist and work with the Rector and clergy. When clergy and lay faithful work together as fellow servants in ministry, amazing things happen in the community. Feel free to contact our clergy and lay leaders if you are interested to join and become active lay leaders in the group.
Volunteer Groups
We surely encourage encourage volunteer groups to organize events, ministry to the poor, fundraisers, etc. Anyone who has great ideas to rally angels of compassion in our church community, please do not hesitate to discuss your ideas and plans with the Rector.
Pastoral Support
Pastoral Support is a ministry of caring for our clergy and lay leadership. St. Paul always reminds us that we are fellow workers in God's vineyard and we all carry each others burdens. Supporting our pastoral ministry is a tremendous blessing that we constantly include in our praise and worship.
